Greenways Intermediate

Morning meetings use a curriculum called CharacterStrong.  Morning meetings are designed to provide relationship and connection within the classroom.

Target-lessons applicable to the needs of students are provided. Bullying,  Anxiety, Substance Abuse, Self-Esteem, Safety, Conflict Resolution, etc. can present concerns with the difficulty of the pre-adolescent stage.

• Hope Choice is an outside resource that provides our 5th and 6th grade students with a presentation on Social-Media and Respect. Self-Care will be provided to 5th grade students only. 

Individual counseling is available as needed for students who are having problems. Parents, teachers, administrators, or students themselves may request time with the counselor. The counselor may consult with the parents and teachers in area of growth, development, and learning. Resources and information can be provided to help with specific concerns. The goal of the counseling center is to provide a safe place for students to come when they are in need to talk about concerns or problems.
